Owner for the central Property Management System (Otalio) on a new-build luxury yacht operation, implemented from scratch with no inherited systems, processes, or documentation, and took on extended responsibilities after the Project Manager left mid-delivery. Defined functional requirements for Otalio integrations across more than 20 external systems, including NetSuite, Seaware, Apollo, Assa Abloy, and IssueTrax, coordinating each vendor from requirements through production acceptance. Designed and executed functional and integration testing, led the onsite go-live in Ancona (early 2026), and trained managers and key users. The solution runs in a hybrid architecture: on-premise shipboard systems integrated with an AWS-hosted platform built on microservices in a Kubernetes cluster.

Technical expert for the design, build, and operation of an enterprise-scale Product Data Management (PDM) and PLM platform supporting satellite development at OHB, with ownership of technical decisions across the full project lifecycle from initial setup to production. Designed and maintained the distributed server architecture (web servers, database servers, and two geographically separated vault and conversion nodes) and established DevOps processes across development and production. Wrote technical specifications and mapped data flows for third-party integrations including SAP (T-Systems), Siemens NX, and Dassault, including a CAD to 3D-PDF conversion for satellite configurations, and reviewed all vendor-supplied code as development moved offshore. Introduced the Selenium automated testing framework, served as service owner for MBSE Cameo and Siemens Polarion, mentored master's and dual-study students, and represented ITS at OHB's AI and Big Data Competence Hub.

Designed and built a cruise and river-ship tour data warehouse consolidating data from multiple source systems (MXP, Fidelio, Seaware, CRM), and handled data collection, cleansing, and integration across Oracle and SQL databases.

Crystal Cruises · M/S Crystal Symphony

Provided IT support across all onboard systems, networks, the data centre, and satellite links on a six-star passenger vessel (around 800 passengers and 575 crew), and built and maintained all onboard SQL reporting independently. Built a mini data warehouse consolidating data from multiple reservation and hospitality systems (Seaware, MXP, Fidelio), and ran the full dry-dock IT operation in 2017.

Worked through four roles (support, automation testing, business analysis, and BI and data warehousing) at one of South Africa's largest asset managers, across Oracle Siebel CRM and a core financial transaction platform (Flex/Oracle). Gathered and documented requirements for the full range of financial transaction types (fund switches, withdrawals, deposits, tax, compliance) and translated regulatory requirements into functional specifications. Wrote complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSRS reports, contributed to SSIS pipeline development and ETL regression testing, and supported Siebel data migration and quality cleanup. Led the testing effort for a major Flex platform upgrade and built live sprint dashboards for a 30-person project team.
